Liturgical Music/ChoirEveryone is encouraged to sing at St. Sophia!
Our chanters serve St. Sophia at virtually every service. For more information about our chanters, please contact Christos Christophorou. Those wishing to learn how to chant are invited to come up to the chanters stand at the Sunday morning Matins/Orthros service, which begins at 8:45 am.
The Adult choir is comprised of both male and female voices. It sings the responses in the Divine Liturgy on Sundays and during Holy Week.
The liturgy is sung in both English and Greek.
